How do I charge a guest for additional distance driven on Alleysa?

Go to Your Profile and Listings: Log in to your Alleysa account and navigate to the Listings section.
Edit Distance Settings:
Select the specific car listing you want to adjust.
Under the Car Details section, locate Distance Included.
Set a Daily Distance Limit:
Choose either Unlimited Mileage or Daily Distance Included.
If you select Daily Distance Included, input the number of kilometers/miles allowed per day.
Set the Additional Distance Fee:
If a guest exceeds the set daily limit, a per-kilometer/mile charge will automatically be calculated.
To understand how the additional distance fee is calculated, click View Details:
Example: If your daily rate is $100 CAD, and the daily allowance is 200 km, the additional fee is $0.50 CAD/km (calculated by dividing the daily rate by the allowance).
Save Your Settings:
After configuring the distance limit and additional fees, click Save to apply the changes.
When Guests Exceed the Limit
If a guest drives beyond the included distance:
The additional fee is calculated automatically based on your settings.
You’ll receive 85% of the additional distance fee according to your protection plan.
This allows you to recover costs effectively while ensuring clear communication with guests about distance limits.
