How long should I wait for a guest if they are late?

It’s not uncommon for guests to be late. Here’s how to manage this situation:
Contact the Guest: If a guest is late, try to reach out to them to understand their situation and discuss possible solutions, such as:
Rescheduling: If feasible, reschedule the tour to a later time or date.
Shortened Tour: If rescheduling isn’t an option, consider offering a shorter tour if the remaining time permits. This way, the guest still experiences part of the tour.
If No Solution is Found: If the guest’s delay makes it impossible to conduct the tour, this is classified as a last-minute guest cancellation. In this case, you will still receive your full payment unless you and the guest agree otherwise and you notify the Alleysa team.
Host’s Discretion: Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide how long you’re willing to wait for a late guest. Clear communication with the guest is key to managing expectations.
