How do I add an additional driver to my trip with Alleysa, and what are my responsibilities?

Ensure Driver Account: Have the additional driver create an Alleysa account and get approved before you request to add them.
Check Age Requirements: Confirm that the driver meets the age requirements for the vehicle.
Submit Early: Request to add the driver at least 24 hours before the trip starts. Additional documentation may extend processing time.
In-Progress Requests: You can add a driver while your trip is in progress if necessary.
Responsibilities of the Primary Driver:

Pickup and Return: You must handle the pickup and return of the vehicle.
Financial Responsibility: You are financially responsible for the vehicle during the trip.
Unauthorized Drivers: Allowing unapproved drivers will void your protection plan.
Additional Charges: You are not responsible for any extra charges related to adding a driver.
To add a driver:
Log in to the Alleysa app or website.
Navigate to the Trips section and select your booked trip.
Go to the “DRIVERS” section and click “Add driver.”
Enter the email associated with the driver’s Alleysa account and notify them to check their email for approval.
To check the driver’s approval status, open the Trip details page. Ensure the email matches the one used by the driver for their Alleysa account. If approved, they can join the trip; if not, they should review common reasons for rejection.
