What should you do if your trip is canceled, and what are the steps if a host asks you to cancel the trip?

If your trip is canceled, you can rebook a new trip yourself via the alleysa system or call customer support for help. If your host cancels, you can rebook a similar vehicle using the funds from the canceled trip. If you don’t rebook within 24 hours, you’ll receive a full refund. You can also initiate a refund sooner, but it will take your bank three to 10 business days to process.
If your host asks you to cancel the trip, inform them that alleysa requires the host to cancel. If you cancel, you may be charged a cancellation fee. If the host’s failure to cancel prevents you from booking a new trip, call customer support for assistance.
