How is the Host fee calculated?

Most Hosts pay a 3% fee, though some may pay more depending on their location and other factors. This fee is calculated from the booking subtotal (which includes the nightly price and any additional fees charged by the Host, but excludes the guest service fee and taxes) and is automatically deducted from the Host payout.
